Q: On my YG-5602, it won’t program the remote controls and it seems to be stuck in the pedestrian mode, only opening one side (master or slave).

A: First, make sure that you have ac power to your unit, not just battery.  Using a multimeter or battery tester, make sure that you have at least 12v on your battery.  Second, make sure that all dip switches are in the OFF position (all the way to the right).  Third, press the “Learn” button and the red LED should light up.  Press #1 on your remote control and the light should go out.  Press #1 again and your gate actuators should move.
