The OSM system connects the customer app, web service, and on-site device so a configured gate controller can be activated from a phone.
Legacy opener installation guidance covers push-to-open and pull-to-open geometry, motor and control box wiring, teaching remotes, obstruction sensitivity, and mechanical stop placement.
Automatic gates are heavy moving equipment. Use the correct manual, local electrical requirements, safety devices, and a qualified installer when needed.
All public PDF manuals, setup documents, brochures, forms, and related support assets found in the archived GatekeeperLTD site are preserved here. GatekeeperLTD is no longer presented as an active opener sales storefront; this site focuses on OSM and support for customers who already own Gatekeeper equipment.
Answers preserved from the original FAQ, tightened up for current customers.
Yes. The YG swing gate openers support push-to-open and pull-to-open configurations. The mounting geometry is different, so review the manual before drilling, welding, or setting final bracket positions.
Install the mechanical retainers or stop blocks where you want the gate to stop. The operator stops when the gate reaches the open or closed retainer position.
Additional remotes may be available through a dealer or support contact. Email [email protected] with the opener model and any label information on the receiver or remote.
Some third-party remotes may learn into the controller, but compatibility is not guaranteed. The original Gatekeeper remotes use 433 MHz rolling-code technology.
Older AC gate openers do not run directly from solar panels. A battery and inverter arrangement may be possible, but that configuration is not part of the standard Gatekeeper support path.
This site is now focused on OSM and legacy support information. It is not presented as an active storefront for new opener sales.
For OSM account issues, legacy opener support, replacement part questions, or documentation help, include your opener model, device type, and a short description of the issue.
Automatic gates can cause serious injury if installed or tuned incorrectly. Use obstruction reversal, photocells or equivalent safety devices, and the correct manual release procedure for the site.
